Carneddau Farm is set above the Conwy Valley between Betws-y-Coed and Llanrwst with views of the mountains of Snowdonia. There are 2 newly converted traditional stone buildings that offer comfortable self catering accommodation with one cottage sleeping 4, and the other cottage sleeping 5.

One of the self catering cottages is suitable for disabled visitors and includes facilities such as a wheel-in shower. Both cottages are fitted to a high standard.

The Location, near Betws-y-Coed in Snowdonia, North Wales

The holiday cottages are located above the Conwy Valley between Betws-y-Coed and Llanrwst at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. There are plenty of places to eat out locally in Betws-y-Coed and the local market town of Llanrwst which is just 2 miles away. Betws-y-Coed is an ideal place to shop for outdoor gear and gifts, whilst Llanrwst offers a wide variety of shops including a supermarket.

There are plenty of places to visit whilst staying in the cottages including Bodnant Garden just down the valley, and other National Trust properties at Penrhyn Castle, Plas Newydd on Anglesey, and Chirk Castle. There are also castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Dolwyddelan, and steam railways including the Ffestiniog Railway, the Snowdon Mountain Railway, and the Welsh Highland Railway.

There are numerous activities available for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Snowdonia and the Conwy Valley offer a wide range of options for walking and climbing, and the excellent Marin Mountain Bike Trail is just across the valley from the cottages. Horse riding, fishing and birdwatching can also be enjoyed in the area.
